SHOES THAT PUT SMILES ON FACES

by | May 12, 2025

At Timrite, making a difference goes beyond the workplace – it extends into the heart of the communities we are connected to. As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Investment (CSI) efforts, we recently donated 67 pairs of school shoes to the learners of Xobani Primary School in Wedela, Carletonville.

This initiative wasn’t just about providing shoes. It was about giving dignity, building confidence, and reminding children that their future matters. For many learners, receiving a pair of proper new school shoes means they can walk to school with pride, free from embarrassment or discomfort, ready to learn and participate fully.

We were welcomed at the school with bright smiles and heartfelt gratitude. It was a day filled with joy and emotion, reminding us of the profound power of small acts of kindness.

At Timrite, we believe education unlocks opportunity. We are committed to removing barriers to learning. This donation is one of the ways we help to build a brighter, more hopeful future – one confident step at a time.
