CEMRITE®

CemRite® Packs are yieldable permanentstope support units consisting of a number of bag layers laying on top of one another , guided by an internal pre-stressed elongate.
Each layer of CemRite® has internal webbing reinforcement which when pumped with grout , reinforces the grout so that it yields in a controlled manner under deformation.
Various pack footprints are available from 70cm x 70cm up to 115cm x 115cm to cover the variable conditions found in the mines.

ATTRIBUTES
Full hanging wall contact with no slump;
Easy to install
Different variations for different uses;
Bags pumped individually;
Bags contain reinforcing webbing straps;
Yield-able blast on support
Reduces shaft constraints; and
Small compartments for excellent dewatering

POWERITE®

PoweRite® packs are relatively large structures designed originally to assist in the stabilisation of workings , but have found many other apllications in the mining industry.
The strcture contains a number of pumped layers guided by internal steel or timber elongates. PoweRite Packs are normally pumped with tailings-based cementitious grout.
Elongates in PoweRite become the elongate permanent support for the panel.
The backfill placement and elongate placement are connected.
The backfill cycle therefore has to be combined with the mining cycle.

USES OF POWERITE
Stabilization of bad ground
Assisting in pillar replacement
Backfill walls
Bulkheads
Replacement for conventional backfill bags

ATTRIBUTES
High surface area to volume ensures good dewatering and reduced slump;
Various lnegths and widths of bags are available;
The number of layers pumped is dependent upon the stoping width of the area being filled;
PoweRite can be internally re-enforced to enhance support performance;
Low volume per compartment – increased safety; and
Cost competitive

FILLRITE®

Use of layers improves de-watering as the bag fills; FilllRite® compartementalised backfill bag
FillRite is is a compartementalized backfill bag designed to be used between existing elongates;
There are no internal elongates or guides in the bag
There are three compartments per layer, but only one filler valve per layer
Bags have ties for stability

ATTRIBUTES
Low filling volume per compartment – increased safety to workforce and increased productivity;
High surface area to volume ratio;
Good hanging wall contact
Reduced labour required to install because there are no barricades required;
Can use between existing elongates;
One valve per layer; and
Can create escape ways

P SERIES

Designed to be a square backfill or tailings-based grout bag specifically for pillar reclamation projects. Two compartments per bag – one above the other.
Internal holes for timber elongate guides and each layer has its own valve.

ATTRIBUTES
Small seperate compartments;
Smaller fill volumes – greater safety for installation crews;
Greater surface area to volume ratio – more efficient de-watering
The mass of grout filling in one compartment improves de-watering of compartment below – better hanging wall contact; and
Can be pressurized to a certain extent allowing for tight hanging wall contact.

VENTRITE®

VentRite® is a system for building ventilation walls undergroud
With a width of 0.3m , various lenghts are available to construct stable ventilation structures or stoppages.
Essentially , each structure contains several pumped layers guided by internal steel or Timber elongates.
VentRite can be pumped using : backfill , tailings-based grout , aerated cement

ATTRIBUTES
A pump-able ventilation wall;
Adjusts to the shape of the hanging wall;
Sealing against the pillar; and
Continuos air-tight seal.

MatSetter

The MatSetter pre-stressing bags are of a woven polypropylene, and are designed to handle the large loads and high pressures pumped into them. The grout is pumped into the bag through a 25 mm screw type non return valve. The outlet hose from the pump is attached to this valve with a screw attachment so that the operator can stand away from the installation.

This enhances his safety from both a possible fall of ground, and a bag burst point of view.

The state-of-the-art pack pre-stressing system, utilizing a specially designed grout to reduce material handling underground. Available to activate various pack sizes.

BlokRite

BlokRite® is a lightweights cementitious stope support unit designed to have relatively high initial stiffness while yielding at low loads through large deformation. The units consist of a lightweight cementitious block held within a reinforced polypropylene bag. Different pack sizes can be built from one sized unit because of its modular nature.

BlokRite® are typically 600x 300cmx 100cm blocks but it also consists of 3 variations depending on the customer requirements.

BlokRite® Variations

  • BlokRite®
  • BlokRite®hybrid

Attributes of the BlokRite®

  • Easy handling
  • Resistance against breakages
  • No dust
  • No steel
  • Excellent performance
  • Low / limited creep or load
    duration effects
  • Cannot rot in humid atmosphere
  • Relatively lightweight
